Following a successful year of continued growth, our client is expanding their engineering team and is looking for a Trainee Field Engineer to join their manufacturer-approved team, covering Surrey, Middlesex, Hampshire and London.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing
As a Trainee Field Engineer, you’ll be trained to carry out a varied range of field-based engineering duties, including:
· 🔩 Annual servicing of products
· 🛠️ Call-outs, repairs and maintenance
· 🔍 Diagnostics and fault finding
· ⚡ Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
· 📋 Risk assessments and technical documentation
· 📐 Digital surveying – full training provided
· 🏗️ Product installation – full training provided
· 🤝 Providing a high standard of customer service
No two days will be the same, and you’ll have the opportunity to develop your technical skills while working across the South East.
👷 Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is practical, reliable and keen to learn.
Ideally, you’ll have some experience working in a technical, mechanical or electrical environment, but this isn’t essential. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
You’ll need:
✅ A good understanding of mechanical and/or electrical engineering – desirable, not essential
✅ A full, clean UK driving licence held for at least 3 years
✅ Previous experience providing a high level of customer service
✅ A willingness to learn and develop new technical skills
✅ Ability to complete a DBS check
✅ Ideally based in or around South or West London / Greater London
✅ A suitable and secure location to park the company vehicle overnight
