Buying Coordinator
Our client is a fabulous organisation that require a buying coordinator to become a vital part of their procurement team. You will play a key role in ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency and quality compliance, while using Monday.com to manage procurement workflows and supplier communications.
They operate in the vibrant pulse of the design and production industry and are one of them most challenging yet fulfilling creative sectors. The successful candidate will have a dynamic attitude and be switched on and happy to dive straight into a fast paced role. You will be very responsive and also have strong attention to detail.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
The ideal candidate will have experience in a procurement role, ideally in a manufacturing environment or from a construction industry. You will have strong organisational and time management skills and if you are proficient in Monday.com, or similar project/task management platforms, that would be a distinct advantage. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating and purchasing materials, equipment and services to support our clients ongoing projects.
The successful candidate will support the team in sourcing and purchasing raw materials, components and services and you will create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. The role will require you to track order status and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery. You will use Monday.com to manage procurement tasks, timelines and supplier communications, maintain up to date records of supplier information, pricing and delivery schedules and assist in resolving delivery discrepancies, invoice issues and supplier queries. You will liaise with internal departments such as Fabrication, Finance and Logistics to align procurement with operational needs. You will also have the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
