Our client is an established firm of Solicitors in the Surbiton area, organised into several divisions including Litigation and Family, Private Client, Residential Conveyancing and Commercial.
The private client team consists of three Solicitors presently supported by two secretaries.
The suitable applicant will have legal secretarial experience and will be expected to support that team. Occasionally support is required in other areas in the firm depending on requirements.
The tasks undertaken and the skills required are as follows; Good keyboard skills and the ability to use Word for document production using audio digital dictation, approximate typing speed expected 65 wpm. You will be able to manage emails and the electronic diary through Outlook. You will have good communication skills, being able to liaise with clients and able to learn and use the firm’s data storage confidently. Prioritising work load is key and ensuring files are kept up to date whilst always following the firm’s procedures.
Able to organise their work and tasks efficiently to ensure maximum output and accuracy. Covering reception when required.
Private Client experience essential.
The hours of work are 37.5 per week generally between 9.00 am and 5.30 pm with one hour for lunch between 1 pm and 2 pm or as otherwise required.
Hours required are negotiable. Salary dependent on experience.
