Our well-established client is looking for a personable, technically minded and knowledgeable Technical Sales Representative to join their small, friendly team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with an electrical background or strong technical understanding of test and measurement equipment who is also comfortable communicating with customers, guiding them through hardware and software-related queries.
📚 Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance and support to customers, especially those with electrical queries
- Assist with product usage, comparison of testers, and software/firmware troubleshooting
- Use screensharing tools to walk customers through product setups and diagnostics
- Support Distributors and Wholesalers, helping them understand the value and function of products
- Build long-term relationships with customers and offering a professional, solutions-focused service
- Handle product enquiries efficiently via phone, email, or screenshare
- Occasionally travel to customer sites and events across the UK (with some overnight stays)
🧠 Requirements:
- Electrical knowledge or experience (ideal for electricians looking to transition to a technical desk-based role)
- Strong IT skills – comfortable using software and supporting remote troubleshooting via screen share
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – you’re friendly, clear, and professional
- Previous experience working with Distributors and Wholesalers (a bonus)
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities
- A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently in a supportive team setting
- Willingness to travel occasionally and represent the business professionally on the road
