Duties will include the running and setting CNC lathes, ensure that daily production targets are met and IFS production and scrap metal records maintained. You will ensure quality control procedures are adhered to and read and interpret technical drawings. You will always look to improve production output and quality and processes and ensure all company procedures are followed. You will update any incorrect quality plans, report drawing issues and undertake other tasks as requested.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in the setting of Citizen CNC lathes to a high standard with an understanding of programming. You will be computer literate with a good knowledge of MRP systems, IFS. You will be able to work well under pressure and have effective communication skills as well as possess lots of motivation and flexibility with a willingness to learn continuous best practice. You will be able to demonstrate initiative and positive attitude and have excellent organisational, time management and attention to detail skills. You will be comfortable in being able to work alone or within a team environment, contributing and sharing best practices, resources and ideas in order to continually improve. You will have the ability to work to set standards and procedures.
This is a long term temporary position available until approximately December 2021
