Our client is looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join our Rotterdam-based operation. You will play a vital role in ensuring that goods are stored, processed, and shipped with accuracy, efficiency, and care.
⚠️Please note: To be considered, you must live near Rotterdam Airport and speak fluent Dutch and English. A valid forklift licence is also required.
đź“š Your Key Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and ship orders across Europe according to company standards
- Label and process shipments accurately and in a timely manner
- Receive and inspect incoming goods, storing them appropriately
- Operate forklifts and reach trucks safely and efficiently
- Load and unload freight vehicles
- Keep warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with safety regulations
- Manage tools, PPE, and equipment within the warehouse
- Handle returns and repairs process
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock accuracy
- Communicate daily with Head Office (UK) and handle basic admin tasks (emails, calls, timesheets)
- Apply all legal, safety, and company procedures consistently
- Support building and warehouse security
🧠Requirements:
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Valid forklift and/or reach truck licence
- Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written)
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- A proactive mindset with the ability to plan your own activities
- Comfortable using email and basic office tools
- Able to commute reliably to Rotterdam Airport area
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks safely
